Downtown Restaurants

There are also restaurants in the Houston Tunnel System.
If you have not explored the tunnel system, please consider it.
The tunnel system is only open during the daytime and businesses close at
about 5 PM. For more information on
the tunnel system and tours, please call 713 222-9255.
Access
to the tunnel system is available outside and inside several buildings.
Some building entrances to the tunnel system may require you to leave a
picture ID. If you use an inside
the building tunnel entrance that requires a picture ID you will have to exit
via the same place to get your ID returned.
This is the result of the 9/11 New York and Washington terrorists
attacks. Entrances outside of buildings do not have this requirement.
